At the Nursery School Level, our pupils are exposed to the advantage of having a preparatory qualitative education. The basic subjects offered in the Pre-Nursery Section are strengthened in the Nursery Section.
Pupils are taught the basic educational concepts ranging from recognition of Numbers, Letters and other fundamental subjects that thrill their inquisitiveness and strengthen their social interactions and self-confidence. Rich resources for learning such as building blocks to books and electronic tools are made available to them.
A less arduous but qualitative approach to the teaching and learning of Mathematics is applied at this stage. Here, the pupils are introduced to addition, subtraction, multiplication of numbers via the use of counters, objects, bundles tying and tallies which make the learning of numbers concrete and child-centred. Our teachers also use songs, games and interactive activities to teach the young children.
